I had been watching Rufous Hummingbirds for a couple of weeks as they were migrating through West Texas. I was amazed at how aggressive they are to other types of hummingbirds. Very territorial; the Black-Chinned Hummingbirds continued to be chased off by these beautifully colored little birds. I captured this little one as it was fleeing from a Rufous just out of frame.
