Big Bend is one of my favorite National Parks. Mountains, Desert, River, and some of the darkest skies in the country, there’s a lot to love. This Chisos Mountains is the highlands of Big Bend with Emory Peak being the highest point at 7,825′. This image was taken in late August. Temperatures had cooled a little compared to the earlier summer months and the occasional passing rain delivered some attractive skies.

Metal Prints: Preserving the photo by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, your images will take on an almost magical luminescence. The ultra-hard scratch-resistant surface is waterproof/weatherproof and can be cleaned easily – just avoid direct sunlight.
