I’ve been fortunate to have the opportunity to spend some time workamping at Wolfe’s Neck Center in Freeport, Maine. Its so nice to be able to spend extended periods in my home state. See family and old friends. It also provides me the opportunity to revisit some of my favorite locations, and discover a few new ones. Although the Maine coast was always my favorite aspect of Maine, I had never visited the coastal area around Freeport. Wolfe’s Neck is another peninsula that make up the Maine coast. This image was shot during one of those classic foggy mornings along the Maine coast. I was just out for a walk with my camera and couldn’t resist the scene.  The fog was so thick I could barely see the shoreline, but these few birds caught my eye as the fed in the decreasing tide. Sometimes the simplicity of the scene is what makes it worth capturing.
