Workamping allows you to conveniently be in beautiful places and experience amazing things.  Working and living at the Chiahuahuan Desert Nature Center in Fort Davis, Texas was an absolute treat. The remote location results in some of the darkest skies in the country.  On moonless nights, the Milky Way is extremely visible. The skies are so dark, the University of Texas has an observatory on the peaks of the nearby Davis Mountains.  Visit my workamping blog to read about some of the places we’ve worked and lived.
