Description

After spending a few days exploring the woods of Northern Maine, I was driving along the Kennebec River, heading south to end my adventure. I entered the town of The Forks. As I came around a bend in the road, I happened to catch a promising scene in my review mirror. I quickly pulled over and found a trail on the river bank that lead back up the river. I grabbed my gear and followed the trail a short distance. Balancing my tripod on some river rocks, I set up for my shot of the rapids. I used a little longer exposure in the shot to smooth out the rough water.
