Description

At the eastern most point in the United States stands West Quoddy Head Light. The candy-striped lighthouse is a well known landmark at Quoddy Head State Park.  A beautiful State Park along Maine’s Bold Coast in Downeast Maine. I’d been wanting to visit and photograph West Quoddy for a very long time. I spent the majority of the day hiking the trails of Quoddy Head before returning to the lighthouse to await the golden hour. I captured several photos during sunset and decided to grab a bite to eat and return for some night shots.  The night did not disappoint. I captured the lighthouse at several different angles, adjusting my focus and shutter speed attempting to capture different perspectives.
