Burrowing Owls are a lot of fun to observe. Big bright eyes and quick movements provide plenty of comical entertainment. As I spent an evening watching some Burrowing Owls on Marco Island, I captured this one as he flew back and forth from one burrow to another. He was coming right towards me….I was very happy he decided to land instead of doing a fly-by of my head!
