I very much enjoy night photography and I always loved this little lighthouse on Casco Bay. With Portland in the background, I thought Bug Light would make a unique shot of a lighthouse at night. The colors in the sky during the blue hour were fantastic. The park was very busy on this particular night to watch the full moon rise in the opposite direction. This gave me plenty of opportunity to capture the little light without very many people strolling through my frame.
