‘Always look behind you’ has been a lesson I continue to learn over and over again when out photographing. This particular evening I was focusing on capturing the setting sun over Blue Mountain in the Davis Mountains. As I waited for the sun to fall where I wanted, I decided to look to the east, well south-east to be precise; and behold there is this magnificent storm cloud forming on the south side of Mitre Peak in the distance. More often then not, I come back with a different shot than I anticipates before going shooting.
